MISSION STATEMENT
The Sunny Hills PTA continually strives to support and advocate for our children by partnering with teachers, parents, and the wider community to create a learning environment where Sunny Hills students can “Be the Best Me I Can Be.”
GOALS
*Achieve 100% membership.
*Apply for and earn a Best Practices Award.
*Continue to foster a sense of school-wide community by adding at least two new “just for fun” events.

School Safety
Please follow posted speed limits when dropping off, or picking up children. We have asked local law enforcement to patrol the area surrounding the school to help enforce drop-off and pick-up lanes, as well as posted speed limits. Please be careful!
FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY!
Art Docent Chair position is open:
The Art Docent Chair is the liaison between the Staff, The Art Walk volunteer, the Art Fair Chairman, and the Art Docents. The Chair organizes the Art Docents in each classroom, makes sure there is someone who represents each teacher, restocks the Art Supply Closet, and keeps a contact list of the Art Docents throughout the year. This position also provides guidance and best practices for Art Docents through individual counseling, email, hard-copy, or other, such as maintaining a resource book and training. In preparation for the Spring Art Fair, May 7, the Chair also works with the Art Fair Chair and the Art Docents with submission of classroom projects and set-up.

Dear Sunny Hills Families,
We’re gearing up for a great school year and are looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones! Our goal this year is for the PTA to continue to foster the wonderful sense of community that exists at Sunny Hills. We sincerely hope to meet each of you along the way.
Sunny Hills has always had an amazing group of parents who work very hard to make a difference at our school. Whether you chair a committee, volunteer to help at a PTA event, or join the PTA to show your support, your help is appreciated. So thank you, for doing what you can.
